The EMP Research Institute is a virtual institute that links a wide variety of research projects & locations so that knowledge and resources can be shared. The institute also conducts research with other companies working with renewable energy and green shipping related technologies.
Current projects include the development of the patented Aquarius MRE and EnergySail plus research related to the Aquarius Eco Ship.
Research locations include Fukuoka, Osaka, Yokohama & onboard ships with a outdoor test and marine technology evaluation center located in Onomichi, Japan.
